Mthr. Abbess Mary Magdalene (Senia) Fix, OSB, Acworth, GA.

+Senia is a bishop in the Old Catholic Apostolic succession.  Besides being the Abbess of the Southern Cross Abbey, she has a nursing home ministry in Woodstock, GA.  +Senia has a ministry to teach church planting and small faith group development, and is about to begin a ministry to teach Hispanic/Latino immigrants English as a second language.  This program will be sponsored by Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, GA.  In addition, +Senia is taking courses in Benedictine spirituality and will be starting a Benedictine study group in the near future.  She is a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church, Kennesaw, GA.


Br. Romanos (Joseph) Cirou, OblOSB, Atlanta, GA

Br. Romanos is an oblate of Southern Cross Abbey and an Archpriest of the Ecumenical Catholic Church.  He is a liturgical music director who has a ministry of sacred music and is also the Pastor of St. Sergius and Bachus Church in Atlanta, GA.


Mr. Richard Fix, Oblosb, Acworth, GA.

Rich is married to Mthr. Mary Magdalene, the Abbess of our community.  He participates in the life of the community, helping with projects and supporting the community with  prayer and work. Richard is an oblate and a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, GA.


Br. Anthony Forlano, OSB, Mt. Pleasant, SC

Br. Anthony Forlano and his wife, Leslie, recently relocated to South Carolina from Arizona.  Br. Anthony is a lifetime professed Monk.   He and Leslie are in a confirmation class in their new Episcopal church, Christ Church Episcopal, in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  Br. Anthony hopes to begin a Benedictine study group at Christ Church Episcopal in the near future.


Br. Damian (Kieran) Pavlick, OSB, Acworth, GA

Br. Damian (Kieran) Pavlick is a priest of the Independent Catholic Church of America.  He has a nursing home ministry in Woodstock, GA. In addition, Fr. Kieran is helping to develop the English as a second language program that is being started at Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, GA. 


Br. Al Pike, Jr., NOSB, Naples, Fl and Salem, MA

Fr. Al Pike, Jr., is deeply involved in small faith ministries in his parishes of the Episcopal Church in Florida and Massachusetts (where he and his wife spend the summers).  Among other things, he is working on a formal training program for novices of the Southern Cross Abbey and has a group of 8 in his Benedictine studies group.  Al+ is very active in social justice groups in his community. 



Sr. Sandi Waldrop, OSB, Spartenburg, SC

Sr. Sandi is a deacon in the Old Catholic apostolic succession.  She just completed her third year of studies toward her B.S. in professional nursing.  Sr. Sandi’s ministry is bringing comfort and spiritual and physical healing to the sick and the elderly. Sr. Sandi is a communicant of Church of the Incarnation in Gaffney, SC.


Br. Peter Abelard (Tim) Waldrop, OSB

Br. Peter is a Bishop in the Old Catholic Apostolic succession.  In 2005, Br. Peter completed his D.Min. from Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC.  He is involved in church planting and small faith group development with +Senia and is her partner in the Build His Churches ministry.  Br. Peter is employed in social services.  He and his wife, Sandi, attend an Episcopal church in Gaffney, SC.
